Nels Cline cites surf music as inspiration to pick up
guitar. I've seen Nels several times in NYC a couple
of years ago. Nels is a top notch guitarist that has
re-defined the way you can approach a guitar. Hes
probaly the sickest guitarist out there today.
"I became excited about the sound of the electric
guitar after hearing the Byrds and some of the surf
music that was happening back in 1966 when I was 10
years old."
