My band, though not a "surf" band by any stretch, just
recently cut our demo with two instro tunes--one is a
hopped up rocker called "There Goes That Dude" that I
co-wrote with our guitar player, inspired by the movie
"Road Racers" (check it out if you haven't) and the
second is a spaghetti-westernesque tune called "Hexin'
Gun" with a very old school, Ennio Moriccone feel to
it and a 12 string acoustic rhythm track. We're more
rocker-Link than surf, but do these qualify? I only
co-wrote one of the tracks.
