Had an experience like that with my first and last purchase at buy.com. They
had some computer memory sticks listed at a very very low price with a limit
of 4 per order, so I ordered them. I received an email saying that it was a
mistake and they refused to honor it. They then discontinued the part number
and re-listed the same memory as a new part number at a price that was no
bargin at all!!! how low is that?

A similar thing happend to me with Musician's Friend one time. They had a
guitar case
listed for real cheap (I don't racall actual prices right now, but it was
extremely cheap). I
kinda figured it was probably a typo, but I thought I'd take a stab at it
anyway. Everything
went through initially and they sent me an invoice. But a couple days later
when it was
ready to ship, I got a phone call and the guy was very apologetic and
explained that they
couldn't sell the case at that price. MF has pretty darn good customer
service. A little too
good in that particular case.
But Amazon should have done the same thing. At least let you know what
happened
instead of just pulling the order out from under you. You guys should call
them.
