Re: [SurfGuitar101] Re: Klas & California Lyrics(why move)

Ran Mosessco (kick_the_reverb) - 26 Jan 2005 00:53:58

As a pretty new So-Cal resident, I must say with all its shortcomings (cost
of living), it is the greatest place to live, especilay for somone who is
really into surf music or other California culture phenomena (Hot Rods,
Tiki).
I sure would have liked it better if more of you East Coast or Mid West guys
lived here so we could see even more great surf bands. I know Gavin has been
considering moving here for some time.
There is one downside specific to live surf shows here - the attendance is
usually low. So, if Klas, for example, moved here with the Surfites, they
would probably be disappointed by the crowd turn-out to their shows.
Nuff rambling, see you at the Whistle Stop and at Suzy's this weekend (doing
my part to keep attendance up).
