Re: Recording: was Madeira MP3's & Best of 2004 Poll Results

supertwangreverb - 24 Jan 2005 18:40:33

When we recorded for our album we did it all live in the same room.
We literally had the bass amp and guitar amp next to each other,
however, they were pointed different ways. The bass amp was pointed
towards a wall and we put the mic inbetween the wall and bass cab,
and we had a divider inbetween the two amps. The first time we
recorded the album we did it with all the amps in their own seperate
rooms. We liked the more live sound of the 2nd takes with us all in
one room.
