Ivan -
The last time we tried recording, we did it just like you, but the
bass amp bled into the drum mics so badly, we couldn't turn down
the bass track far enough, and it was still too much bass. we made
the bass player feel bad, and he developed a complex because we
kept saying "turn down, turn down". By the end of the night, he
was almost turned off, and couldn't hear himself at all. Still,
too much bass into the drum mics...
