On Ebay, I noticed 3 of the "Little Lanilei" Reverb Unit
from songworks for sale.
( )
they seem to be going in the $100-$150 range...looks like
$199 new at the songworks site...
I've never played one, but it looks good...is designed
aroung an accutronics 3-spring anolog reverb circuit. Is
it just a glorified Spring King? I wonder...almost the same
price though...
might be worth considering, in fact I'm considering getting
one myself. My Fender RI tank is currently at Mojave Amp
Works getting a badly needed tune up: you know: tube check
and tone/dwell/mix pot clean up...I had mucho crackle and
drop out when messing with the knobs...dirty pots, or old
busted pots...(damn cats!)
the Little Lanilei might be cool for those practice
situations where you're too lazy to drag out the Big
Equipment...
you know, when I go over to my pal Frank's place for that
BBQ and jam session and just take the guitar, the Peavey
Back Stage and the Lanilei...
I can see it now...
dp
PS: ...isn't it sad how when we start to age, laziness and
inertia just slowly creep in and take over...dang!
