Right before I moved into my house 3 years ago, I was
painting and cleaning everything...sprucing the place up
before I moved all my stuff in. I had my CD boombox, some
CDs and my tools and paint in the house. Someone broke in
while I was away at work and swiped my tools and my CD
player and the 6 or seven CDs I had there.
Guess which CD was in the player.
Yep, you guessed it "Legends of Guitar: Surf"
So I am left with just the Jewel box and liner notes...man,
I miss that CD bigtime.
Fortunately, I'm so obsessive, I had the cassette version
from Pic'n'Save bargain bin. It's almost as good as the
CD...I listen to it in the Jeep when I'm driving around the
Mojave Desert.
One cool thing about the cassette though, I took it with me
when I saw Dick Dale and Jimmy Dale at the San Bernardino
Car Show. They both signed the cassette liner sleve after
the show...that old cassette is beat up, but at least I can
still listen to "A Run for Life" and "Squad Car" and
"Beyond"...

PS: I did end up getting new locks all around and an alarm
system, gotta protect Dave's Pad, you know.
