I wrote to the seller and asked
"What is it that makes you think
it's a 57? It seems to have the
wrong neck, pickguard, neck plate etc.
Can you tell me the serial number?"
His answer -
"This is waht the guy said..Old guy i believed him..
I dont play so i really dont know guitars..Just
bought it to hang on the wALL. The numbers are 11373"
The numbers seem to put it into the 55-56 year range.
But obviously most of the components are some kind
of non-F parts.
So there's a rip off here. It may have occurred TO the
current seller, it's surely going to occurr to the
prospective buyer.
