I know what you mean. I actually turned off my reverb unit the other
day while I was explaining to someone what the device actually did. I
could not believe how weird it sounded without reverb. I actually
think that I could be a better guitar player if I tried to expand into
other playing styles. But I have too much fun playing surf, and not
enough time to explore other styles. That's probably limiting me in
the grand scheme of things, but so far I don't miss that.
