Hey Jeff,
Our bassist swears by Pyramid flats. He's had a set on one of his
basses for 4 years! The Pyramids are nickel, like they used to be
back in the day. Thomastiks are nickel as well but they are more
modern sounding and they don't thud as much as the Pyramids. When he
got his Jazz Bass and put on the Pyramids it sounded just like the
intro to Mr. Rebel.
