Yes,
The Korgs are excellent and fairly easy to use. I have the 1200 track but I
recommend the 1600 'cause the 1200 only allow 4 simulteneious recording tracks.
The 1600 allows for 6 or 8, I'm not sure.

Subject: [SurfGuitar101] Portable studio, Korg 1200 or 1600, suggestions
Hello all, I've been using an old 4 track cassette recorder and am
thinking of upgrading to something digital that can burn CD's
directly. Need at least 8 tracks and excellent sound quality. Looking
at the korg 1200 or 1600 models. Does anyone have any experience with
these or any other suggestions? Thanks, Casey
