Found a '62 Shell Pink tortoise shell pg Jazzmaster for a grand.
Non-original, but good case. Sounds awesome, nice action plays well,
everything works, and all original except the color. Previous owner sent the
body, dig this, to Gibson, for a refin to the new color. This is documented
by Gibson's shop, and it has like 7 coats of clear nitro on it, etc.....very
nice finish, just hasn't aged...looks just like the shell pink in the
Frontline catalog. So whaddya think? Good deal...I dig the color, but it is
quite different....oh, and it seems like the trem-lock limits the trem a lot,
but the whammy still has an effect...is this normal?
