Let's hope that was just a photo-distorto effect happening...I've heard
people like Jim Shine say there are differences in body shapes between the
Japanese and American (both reissue and vintage) guitars, but I would hope
it wasn't that dramatic. I have compared other pics of Japanese Jags (from
the 90's) and they seem more reasonable.
I have resisted getting Mustang saddles so far, but I just won a set on
eBay, so I'll try them out for grins. I may just look for some vintage
saddles since they have 3 different sizes too. I don't get why the American
reissues didn't use different sizes; they were very accurate in all other
details.
If I can find a set of vintage saddles and the Mustang saddles don't work
out, I'll try the Graph-Tecs. I've heard that they don't fit too well side
by side on the bridge (they aren't wide enough so they can wigggle). Seems
like it's always something...
