That's probably right, Big T. I'm sure that Fender wouldn't try to market the
guitar without a volume knob but Dick probably gave it the air on his personal
Beast. The placement of the volume knob on a strat is loved be some and hated by
some and of course others don't give a dern. It is loved by those who like to
use their pinky to roll up the volume for effect, country players in particular.
Hated by those who find it more often gets in the way and accidently rolls down
the volume.
