Has anyone seen him live?
I've heard he has hired several American musicians for his backing band,
relies on them or the venue for his gear, and ends up playing a lot of the
same songs over during his encore. Most show reports I've seen are very
positive however.
Can you imagine schlepping around in a van, gigging when you are 70+ years
old? Gotta hand it to him...
Still, I'd love to see him. He came within 3.5 hours driving distance of me
a year or two ago and I didn't go. What was I thinking?
