Someone in the tab debate a while back asked if there's anything that plays
audio at half speed, the obvious advantage being that its easier to learn
tunes and solos.
Windows Media player allows you to play stuff at half speed while keeping
the correct pitch. Mouse over to the top menu under Play/Play Speed/Slow
and viola :half speed, correct pitch!
Back in the old days (I'll pause to gum my food) we'd play our 33rpm vinyl
records on turntables at 16rpms. If you could find one that still had that
setting! Then you'd have to transpose up an octave! And you'd get vinyl
scrapings in your eye! And ...snorfle, drool, zzzzzzzz,
