Opening act was NOT OF THIS EARTH AND HIS GROOBY BOOBOOS - mostly instro
rockin´and pounding surf, with some vocals; EDDIE ANGEL of LOS STRAITJACKETS
was in the audience briefly but I mkissed him - his band THE NEANDERTHALS play
in a couple of days
NOT OF THIS EARTH wear Mexican wrestling masks (3 of them do) - where I have
seen that before? Hung out with VINCENT of the band and hope to INTERVIEW him
tonight
second band was LES PLAYBOYS (both bands from france) - they play a 60´s
pop-rock sound with strong USA influence (they did TIME WONT LET ME by the
OUTSIDERS); THOUGH they did open with 2 INSTRUMENTAL numbers in a hot surf beat
Francois of LES PLAYBOYS is MON AMI - a new friend and hope to interview him
tonight too
WALKING AROUND BARCELONA now, just game from PARK GUELL, Gaudi architecture
everywhere -- someone made a killing in mosaic tiles here!
