I think this is a great guitar! I've played one owned by a friend of
mine, and not only does it look wicked cool, it's a great-playing,
great-sounding instrument. If I wasn't newly married and spending money
on the kind of things that married people do, I'm sure I would have gotten
one of these by now, especially as you can find them on eBay for $300 or
less. Well, maybe at some point....
BTW, the guitar does have some surf credentials: the lead guitarist of
the incredible, amazing Japanese surf band the Surf Coasters has often
been seen with what looks like a custom version of this guitar.
