Re: BigTikiDude/Jimmy Wilsey again/Chris Isaak

bigtikidude - 16 May 2002 20:52:34

-Dario,
I saw the Mysteries about 5 or 6 times. Very loud, but excellent
musicianship. I know That Dave from the Insects tryed to contact him
about doing some shows, but couldn't get ahold of him, even through
other band members. I hope he hasn't slipped back(if you know what I
Mean)?
That's weird that Chris wouldn't like the Idea of someone doin' his
songs instro style. I Know he has used some new surf bands tunes as
background music in his show on tv. Ant the Eliminators toured with
him a few years back for a west coast leg.
I haven't ever seen Chris live. But I caught him on that studio 54
show on PBS, and Jay Leno, and his newer cd's. I think his new guitar
player has no soul or sound. Way to thin,No Reverb, just plain sucky
if you ask me.
My 2 cents on the matter,
Where is Jimmy Wilsey?
