Anybody use a Bassman?

In local stores, I have the option of:
(1) $1620 US for a blonde 63/64 in average condition, with period
but non-original speakers in the cab; or,
(2) $1400 US for a '64 BF with white knobs & presence control &
original Oxfords in the cab, in very good condition
any comments, recommendations?
