Re: [SurfGuitar101] Digital Reverb Pedals

THOMAS WELLINGTON (hodaddy542000) - 29 Jul 2004 22:09:39

I use a Holy Grail when I don't feel like luggin' my 63 Reverb around. Plus I
like the FLERB effect on the box.

Subject: [SurfGuitar101] Digital Reverb Pedals
I know you guys have talked about this before, and I was following the
discussion very closly, but I need an opinion. I bought one of those
Dano Corned Beef reverb pedals and was fairly happy with it, because I
originally had no reverb. While having fun double picking some high
notes, a loud and scary screeching sound blurted out of my amp and I
don't think the pedal survived.
Anyway to make a long story short...
I want to replace it with a good quality pedal. I have been
considering buying a Holy Grail or a Digiverb. I'm kinda aiming at a
price of $100 and under. What do you guys suggest for an amatuer surf
guitarist like me?
Thanks a bunch,
Alex
