Reverend guitars for surf

Brian Schultz (n2longboards) - 26 Jul 2004 19:38:47

I just want to plug my new Reverend Wolfman as a great sounding and
playing guitar for surf, rockabilly, jazz, blues and rock, etc. It
really does nail it even w/ humbuckers (RevTron). I still prefer the
feel and tone of my Jazzmaster for surf but I think the Reverend is
by far the best guitar for the money and is actually more versatile.
it's twangy and has some real bite. I had Reverend put a Bigsby on as
well. The floating tremelo on the JM is easier to control but the
Bigsby is easier to find while playing and offers the same amount of
range (dip) and is much more solid.
The Slinshot model has two or three P-90's (depending on workhorse or
custom)and is awesome as well.
Well built and perfectly setup, they are a steal for the price.
Just my two-bits.
