Erik, not sure about your "not so nice" sound, but you should "always" (yes,
there are exceptions) put a boost or overdrive pedal first in the signal
chain (otherwise you can end up with weird artifacts, some desirable but
most not). I never found the Tube Screamer to be particularly pleasant
sounding in most cases (too mid-rangy, especially at the higher drive
settings), and finally gave up on mine. I still swear by my KLON Centaur
for a nice full sound in front of a solid state amp, but it certainly is not
a very tone-flexible pedal. Hope this helps.

I have a question about the '63 reissue reverb...
I tried running a tubescreamer into the reverb, (guitar > Ibanez TS9 >
reverb > amp)
It gave a not so nice sound on the high notes, is this expected? Maybe I
should put the tubescreamer after the reverb? Or is there something wrong
with the reverb?
