You know, I thought Big Sandy's drummer looked familiar. Has he been in
other bands?
I was able to get the whole band to sign their picture from their
website. It's the same picture off the back of their new CD.
I was able to meet Big Sandy for the first time. I first heard that band
about 6 years ago. A friend of mine told me about them. Big Sandy
played at our friend's club called Tiger Mask. I didn't see the show,
but I checked them out by recommendation of my friend who helped out
Ralph at Tiger Mask. Good choice. I loved them the first time I heard
them. The bad part is that I never saw them live until I went to the
Hootenanny a few weeks ago. The live performance is good--full of
energy. I like that.
