Re: guitar restoration

Gavin Ehringer (windanseabeachboy) - 01 Jul 2004 12:57:28

I have an Aria TA-70 (ES-335 clone) that had a cracked neck (the
tuning head busted off completely). I bought it repaired, and it
has never given me any problems. It seems very sound and
sounds just fine.
If the guitar sounds and feels good and the repair is clean and
smooth and solid, I don't think it would be worth dismissing out
of hand. Get a good price 'cause you can't expect much on
resale.
And, of course, if it is a bolt-on neck, you can simply replace the
neck.
Good luck!
