D'Aquisto Strings

A timeless topic: Strings. Has anyone tried D'Aquisto strings? I
have been using them through a couple of string changes and have
found them different/better. I haven't broken a D'Aquisto yet,
especially the 0.022 wound G string. They are also a dollar or two
cheaper than D'Addario and Fender. They are not as bright sounding
as D'Addario's, but give a better "thump" for Diamond Head or
Pipeline.
