The necks are very similar between the U.S. and CIJ. I imagine I'll feel a
difference after playing the Japanese one more. They set up the action purdy low
with the 10's. I haven't been able to get the strings so pop out of the bridge
yet but I will be putting on a buzz-stop anyway along with heavier strings.
There isn't much buzz right now but I want the better sustain provided by the
buzz stop and the assurance that the strings won't leave the saddles.
I think the guitar is very worthwhile 699, especially for anyone who doesn't
have a Jazzmaster, and it's a steal at 399.
