I just received my CIJ Jazzmaster today.
My U.S. '62 RI has much better pick-ups in terms of tone and volume.
The U.S. has a green tinted pickguard and aged looking knobs. The CIJ has bright
white plastics.
The CIJ's vibrato bar fits more snugly and stays put in various positions.
Overall quality is nice on the CIJ except for the previously mentioned pick-ups.
The CIJ is set up with round-wound 10's. It will take some truss-rod work to get
it set pu for heavier gage falt wound strings.
