RE: [SurfGuitar101] Tab wanted (hopefully!)

Mel Waldorf (melwaldorf) - 11 Mar 2004 02:31:02

Les Jaguars did some really nice slow tracks and some wild rave-up twists,
all with gobs of echo. The key with Les Jaguars is to find the 60s
recordings. I've got a 1977 best of LP, and I know I've seen CD comps of
their material, though I can't remember where. There's a copy of this LP on
ebay right now. I'd stay away from their later recordings - merde.
The Mach IV plays Supersonic Twist and Guitare Jet, two of the Jaguars'
raveup twists, in our live sets.

I've heard a Les Jaguars cover before (<cough> <cough> Mach IV) and am
intrigued. Where's a good place to start with them?
Thanks,
BN
