Though my main amp is a Fender Vibrasonic ('60), I will also use an
all tube Garnet Revolution 2 (one 12", 1979, spring reverb) once in
a while. I recently recorded some guitar parts for our upcoming CD
(Mar 27) through a late 50s Kent, and an early 60s Dano amp. I used
the Fender Tank for reverb on these. There's nothing like the sound
you get out of those small, one volume, and maybe one tone amp. The
Kent had a great tremolo (off, or on...no tweaking allowed). I used
that on a couple of tunes too.
