Man, I've been playing the trading game with my local vintage amp
dealer and have finally settled on a 69 Silverface SuperReverb and
let me tell you.......she is so sweet! I recently had her recapped
and retubed and it's the best sounding Fender amp I've ever played.
If I were you I'd stay away from the Ultra Linear (mid to late 70's)
Silverface. I just had a clean looking UL 135 RMS Twin and the highs
were like ice picks in your ear drums. SuperReverb all the way!-
