Standell has re-created the JBL D130F using the same company {not JBL} that made
the cast baskets of the originals. I haven't checked in a while, but you JBL
lovers will have to justify your love to the tune of $600 each for these. Maybe
those $33 Jensens don't sound so bad after all. Inquire:

As I understand it, the K series replaced the D series with a more
durable cloth surround vs. a paper one. Both series long since
discontinued.
I would love to hear if anyone has been able to compare the new
vibroverb / eminance to a D130 or K130? Any other experience out
there with JBL substitutes?
