Just wanted to chime in on the old JBLs. I use a JBL K120 in my
deluxe reverb and I think it's the greatest thing since reverb! I
could not approach that crisp, chimey surf sound I wanted with the
stock eminance or a Weber C12N.
As I understand it, the K series replaced the D series with a more
durable cloth surround vs. a paper one. Both series long since
discontinued.
I would love to hear if anyone has been able to compare the new
vibroverb / eminance to a D130 or K130? Any other experience out
there with JBL substitutes?
