Re: ** The Nebulas Complete 2003 European Tour Debrief**

mono_tones_1 - 12 Nov 2003 06:27:26

Jim,
thanks for that post, excellent.
I saw the 013 and the turnhout show, so pretty much the beginning and
the end. both really brilliant shows, though i had the impressio that
the last show in turnhout, some of the Nebulas had consumed a wee bit
more drinks then in Tilburg.... I esp. remeber Dan's concentrated but
slightly panicking face during entire margaya, trying to remember in
what particular order those chords came again, I guess. Great show
nonetheless.
I (and the people i dragged along) had a great time, and i enjoyed
meeting the nebulas, and Jerry S from belgium, at the shows. Hope you
can make it back here in 2004.
for completness only, two little remarks: be carefull to
mention "Koninck of beer fame" and "Artois of beer fame" in one
sentence, it might get you into trouble. While the former, though a
commercially brewed beer, is an excellent and enthiausiastically
consumed quality-beverage, the latter is watered down horsepiss with
nailpolishremover. plus, it's known to give you gas.
013 actually has three halls: one for up to 100 people, one for up to
750 (of which 250 on the balcony) and one for up to 2250 (of which
500 on the balcony). The balcony's can be closed down, and the
biggest room can be cut in half by a giant crutain. This way,
whatever the amount of public for a particular gig, they can always
make the room look filled. how's that for a concept? www.013web.nl
