Have you ever heard Wall of Voodoo, and "Mexican Radio" doesn't count. Not an
instro band and definately not surf but one of the highlights of their live
show was the "Morricone Themes" I have that on a 12" single with "Ring of Fire"
on the flipside. Both tracks feature big twanging guitars and big fat analog
synth patches. They also have some cool songs in the same vein on their album
"Call of the West," which is available on CD. The title track and "Spy World"
which are vocal numbers and "On Interstate 15" which is instrumental.
