I've never played a Danelectro, although I really like Jerry Jones
guitars, which are based on the same classic concepts. They sound
great, and they are not hugely expensive. I've been wanting one of his
Electric Sitars for a long time. However, that said, If I was looking
for a good value on a guitar these days I would seriously consider one
of these Japanese Jags or JMs thats out there--sure the colors are a
little limited, but they're a pretty good deal and you can always
upgrade the hardware.
