Hey Richard...I was standing in the crowd at my first Dick Dale show
right up front. Dick runs out to the front of the stage during his
opening number, and the strap pops off his guitar. He catches it
with his knee and makes a few unsuccessful attempts in between notes
to put the strap back on. So I reach up and hold "The Beast" while
the guy next to me puts the strap back on. Dick never missed a note
and flashed us a nice smile. That was cool.
