Hello Rick;
Glad to be of help. As far as SM SSL1 pickups, I don't have any
experience with them, but Seymour Duncan makes GREAT stuff always,
and I seem to remember that this is their plain vanilla vintage Strat
model (I could be wrong, though - check somewhere on the web), which
will probably sound great.
