Re: [SurfGuitar101] best cheap, common, amp

DP (noetical1) - 29 Sep 2003 13:14:37

Alan:
You definately need a fender...maybe a Fender Twin Reverb
would do the Job for you...or a Fender Bassman with a
Fender Re-issue reverb tank (my setup) The Bassman is a
cool, full bodied amp that is often overlooked by
guitarist...a fairly common and highly reliable Fender.
The Bassman 50 and 100 are both excelent "heads", and you
can mix and match your cabinet.
Another amp that might work for you is a HiWatt...you know,
like Pete Townshend of the Who...but, you will still need
an external reverb unit.
good luck
