Welcome Bill!!
Not to be a pedal party pooper, but I'm not a swiss army pedal fan, that
being said, I will say that I like the tones of the newer Zooms better than
the Digitech, but I think both are probably eclipsed by newer Boss ME series
(is that right guys? ME?).
Again, I tend toward few effects, and as many analog as possible (though a
Dan-Echo is one guilty secret..you guys really needs to buy me an Echocord
or RE-201!!)
Are you into trad or modern Surf music styles? You interest in these types
of effects make me think the latter. You've got some surfy gear.is the
Fender Reverb your amp or the actual Fender Reverb unit?
Oh yeah, the other reason I don't care for these too much is, in the past,
I always ended up using like 2 of the effects, and wishing I 'd just gotten
the 'real thing'.
Let us know what you decide, and again, welcome!! This is a good group.

Subject: [SurfGuitar101] Effects Pedals Question
I posted my inquiry earlier, but no response, probably
because my subject was "Howdy!", which was most
likely a dumb move on my part. :>P
I've been looking at the Zoom 707, or 606, or even a 505
(if I can get an expression pedal with it),
OR a Digitech RP200 or 300 or other.
Do you guys have any caveats or laurels regarding my
initial choices? Any other Swiss Army Effects Pedals
out there I should look out for?
TIA for your patience.
