I haven't seen anything thinner then 010 - 050 , with an .020 wound 3th. But
I haven't seen that much so there you go.
I do know however that Dutch bluesjazzer Arthur Ebeling plays a Gretch 6210
with a set of .009's, with a plain third, and he has the best sound I've
ever heard coming out of a Gretch. you can check a sound samples at , they are under both 'tab' (solo's) and
'discography'
it's got nothing to do with surf, but check it out nevertheless! might get
you to try a set of 009's....
