Hiya, dude. I don't think there's a digital reverb unit made that can
give you what you want. That splash sound was created by the agitated
springs inside the old spring reverb units. It's entirely a result of
the analog nature of the spring reverb effect, and not something that
can really be done digitally. At least not that I've seen, so far.
What you'll want to do it hit ebay, and look for an old spring reverb
tank. I myself got an old Premier 90 Tube-drive unit (manuf. 1964) for
only $200... Much better price than antique fender gear. Works great,
too.

It may take a week or so for something to crop up that you'll want to
bid on, but keep checking back. The old premier units seem to crop up
quite a bit.
