Vincent!
There is one guitarist who experimented a lot with
electronics in the sixties, his name is Vincent Bell.
He designed guitars for Coral/Danelectro and had a
drippy reverb trademark sound that is not surf, but
reasonably close at times.
He was a studio player in New York along with Tony
Mottola and Al Caiola, who played more jazzy and
traditional.
Vinnie Bell was recomended to me by Rick of S:C:O:T:S,
look for his early stuff like 16 Big Guitar Favourites
and Whistle Stop.
I used to to live in Altona, but Altona Hamburg,
Germany! We had a band there called The Looney Tunes.
