The long necks, like the Fender Bajo, Dan Electro, extend out towards the
headstock. That way they didn't have to change the body from their standard
production.

By changing the fret spacing. When the nut is closer to the bridge, frets
are closer together, and the opposite for the longer neck. Can't speak to
the quality of the products; they just looked reasonably possible to me.
