Re: Dave W's New Guitar Idea Photo

Dave,
This is very puzzling. Why go for a Strat body? I thought you liked
the Jag body better...

to try my idea of a Strat body with a Jag neck& scale{24"}, with a
Jag/Jazz tailpiece and bridge. More pronounced neck angle for better
string pressure against the saddles. He made two. This one{in "photos"
section} is a Relic, ash body, '59 humbucker at bridge{Japanese
dealers $uggestion}. His other is silver sparkle.

have two Jag p/ups. I'm trying to fix a '63 Jag neck to put on this
body. My switch will be in a different place, or the switching will be
done with Bill Turner's new combination Knob/switch that will be on a
new series of guitars from Fender called, "Stealth". The knobs look
like the old Strat, J-bass, Telle, but the tops of the knobs can be
push in for swithching functions-very cool!
