Re: Do you actually SURF? (ocean waves)

Brian Schultz (n2longboards) - 02 Nov 2001 21:44:45

I do!
I ride a Robert August 9'6" (longboards mostly, shortboards too,
when it's overhead.) I surf Capitola: ("Pleasure Point" 41street,
near Santa Cruz) and Huntington when I'm down that way. Grew
up in Laguna (long time ago...just turned 40 last weekend,
ouch.)
Favorite bands (this week) are the Bambi Molesters, Mermen,
Aqua velvets, Vara-Tones, Halibuts, Sandals, etc.
I play for music for fun and am lately learning about midi and
synths. I use Logic Audio and dig tropical sound samples, bird
calls, tiki's, far eastern and ethnic instruments. I play a re-issue
Jag and Jazzmaster through a Vibrolux amp and reverb unit. My
hero is Martin Denny (kidding, sort of.)
