Deke is on the cover of the new issue of "Blue Suede News". It's a
much more in depth article than the one in Guitar Player. I too have
to get off my butt and get some of the Deke solo albums. I've got
some Untamed Youth, and some of his Eccophonic 45s. The last bunch
of releases (Hightone & 3-D) are hard to come by on the East Coast of
Canada.
Speaking of Eddie, I just got the Planet Rockers "Hillbilly Beat"
from the man himself. There's a whole lotta great playing/singing on
that one!!! Plus Mr Pan (Panasonics & the Neatbeats), plus the
Guitar Party rhythm section are on it, and it was recorded at Toe Rag
(one of my fave studios...based on recordings I have from there).
