I scored a copy of Chumming off of half.com. I ordered it on Friday and got
in on Monday -- through regular 1st class US mail! Anyway, this is great
stuff, a great change of pace for me. I love Bowling Ball Gardens! Cool!
Hey Rick, I was curious about the sax. Not too many 2nd or 3rd wavers kept
that tradition alive (The Fathoms are the only ones off the top of my head).
When you guys started, did other bands at the time have them? I don't think
Jon & The Nightriders did, but what about the Surf Raiders? Did you just
happen to know a guy who played the sax or was their a conscious decision to
get a sax player to make a "proper" surf band?
