No no it is the other way round.
active pick ups (the ones with a battery) have low impedence and go in the low
input.
Passive pick ups (normal ones) have high impedence and go in the high input.
on Fender tube amps high is input 1 low is input 2
High and low inputs are not to be confused with a high and low gain channels
(like on Jerry's Sovtek )
